I love Ebay!

Well, not much new on the home front, as stated in my last post, I didn't find what I was looking for at one of my local (over 25 miles from my house is local?) hobby store. So, I went shopping on Ebay... I did manage to find & purchase 1 War Walker for $24 (free S&H), but I think I made what I like to call a Tom buy. Now Tom is my friend, and he can haggle with the best of them, but he always seems to find a great deal! Somebody selling an army, Tom gets it for almost nothing. He's just lucky that way. But, I finally got that way this week, as I found somebody selling his old Eldar army on Ebay. He was selling it piece meal, so as I was checking out his "I don't even remember what these are called" auctions, I saw one that just popped out at me... 5 painted wraithguard for...$10 (free S&H), buy it now. And boy did I! I jumped on that one fast!
Now, just have to wait for them in the mail.

Well, my search at my local HobbyTown was fruitless. I went this weekend searching for a couple of Eldar warwalkers and came up with zero! I know that Sci Fi City has one, but wanted to use my $10 off of $50 purcahse coupon at HobbyTown. Started to by a Falcon, but it wasn't $50 and they didn't have anything else I needed or wanted, as they seemed to be getting less and less of GW stuff. I remember when they had 2 isles and are now down to one sparse isle.
Well, looks like it's of to the web and buying from http://www.thewarstore.com/.
On another note, I am looking to get some custom built trays for my killa kans.

Lookin Good!

Well got the big shoota arms on 2 of my kans, and going with a rokkit launcha on the 3rd one, as I think it would be good to have some ranged punch. Also, finished gluing the extra bitz on and I must say, the models "look marvalous".
Onto my Eldar.... going today to look into either another wraithlord or a couple of war walkers. I'm leaning towards the war walkers, as I like the idea of 16 S6 scatter laser shots.

New Bitz

Well got my new killa kan bitz in the mail from ebay. Time to put the big shootas on.
On another note, I'm wondering what kind of army lists I'll be seeing at this years 'Ard Boyz tourney? I suspect, lots of bugs, chaos, and blood angels.
Also, I think that the Nid codex is the strongest/most powerful book released for 5th so far.

I'M BAAACK!

Well, as you can see from the last post, it's been a while. Lots of changes in my life, gaming and other wise. I got my old job back, but on evening shift, so playing has gone way down. I got rid of my Tau army by trading for some Eldar and have adde to my Ork army as new figs continue to roll out from GW and invade my wallet. I have added a box of new Killa Kans as plastic ones were released as was a plastic Deff Dread. The figs are awesome and have lots of bitz.
Since I last posted, GW has released some new codexes, Space Wolves & Nids, both armies my friend Tom plays. I have had really bad luck against both of his armies with both my Eldar & my boyz.
I will post here more often as now I should have more time, as I said before, less playing time due to job.
